Well the two animals seemed quite relaxed and wer sunning themselves in their enclosure. While i was there, they moved around (together) and changed position a few times but overall were very relaxed about being observed.
The other species kept there, the Eastern quoll was more difficult to observe and it only came out of its hollow tree a couple of times so i wasn't able to get any good photos but i am including one here for your interest.
Spotted-tailed quoll make a great animal for exhibit, as long as they are hand reared, otherwise they seem to spend the day light hours hidden away from public view.
This may be a generalisation however whenever l have seen these animals in an exhibit this seems to be the story.
Perth zoo has both the other species, our local 'Chuditch' and the Northern quoll both of which are quite active usually but again in the Nocturnal House. Will be spending some time there later trying a few different settings with my new camera and will post them if they are any good.
