mjmorg89 17 Feb 2009 If I remember rightly it's pretty much the same now. Any potential modifications aren't obvious.

The indoor area has been done up, the Gorilla part of the ape house is much better. The Orangutan Side still is not great outdoors, they have added a few more climbing frames to the outdoors from what I can see in thise photo. I gather this house was built a very long time ago?

Maguari 8 Mar 2009 Just added a photo of the current outdoor exhibit: http://www.zoochat.com/193/bornean-orang-utan-exhibit-blackpool-zoo-67590/ There's actually been quite a fair amount of climbing material added. The inside area is still not great, however.
