The giraffe enclosure was next to an enclosure for the elephants

Is this just now the elephant exhibit? well were the elephant exhibit is now?

Yes, the elephant enclosure now covers the area previously used for both the elephants and the giraffes. I believe the new giraffe enclosure is next to the lions, although I haven't visited the zoo for a number of years.

It look fimilar, I went late last year and I have uploaded some posts of the new giraffe enclosure. The enclosure is nothing special.

Way back in the 1970s/early 1980s, they had a pair of White Rhino sharing this space as well !
The zoo used to rotate access to the paddock for the giraffes and the rhinos.
Seeing your photo brought it all flooding back!
And the area now doesn't look big enough for the elephants alone!
