Hi, I assume Negus and Zoe are the Blackpool lions before Wallace and his pride who are there now, do you know anything about Negus and Zoe, did they die or have they gone to another zoo?
Yeh, both lions died, Zoe went first, and Negus lived alone until the 3 females arrived, he was mating with them, but nothing ever came from it, he died in January aged 22
Negus really was a magnificant animal.
It was the first time i heard a proper lion roar it was just astounding. - He was a great lion be it a little grumpy!
When i was about 5 i was looking around the window searching for him and could not see him and then he came and roared straight at me very magnificent Lion.
