This is one of the females from Apenheul, but I don't know whether it is N'Jema or M'Liki.

Comparing this shot with earlier photos of this exhibit, it seems the vegetation is surviving.Does anybody know what species were used?
 
I haven't been back since taking these photos, but I do remember that a small section of the island was separated off by a hotwire - perhaps to let vegetation recover. On the whole, the vegetation seems to survive remarkably well, but I'm afraid I can't name any of the species. I will have to take even more photos next time I visit.

I think there may be stuff like Elder which they probably don't find palatable, so they leave it alone.

Also they don't spend very many hours per day out here as far as I can see.
 
I don't understand why the other two females, N'jema and Kena have not(to my knowledge) become pregnant so far. Kena is an experienced previous breeder from Barcelona.
