This is a Lesser Sooty Owl, rather than Greater, isn't it?
Could anyone confirm this? Thanks!

Thanks. I wondered if these may have come from Caversham since they also hold Lesser Sooty Owls.

perhaps, but lesser sooty owls are in quite a few zoos (probably between 20 and 30 individuals) and I think they mainly come in via rescue situations. Did they just have two?

I only remember them having the one at Peel.

They had at least two at Caversham though, and I think the one used in their animal encounter show was a third one.

they used to have two at Peel, but maybe they lost one. Strange they don't list them on their website because they've been there a few years now.

Caversham should have quite a few more than three, so maybe most are off-show (if they still have them all).
