I was lucky enough to see my first sooty oystercatcher not far from here a week ago just by Kingscote. I got to see many wild firsts in Kangaroo Island, great place for wildlife.
KI is a fantastic place for wildlife, I too has few firsts there, and I strongly recommend it as a destination for anyone who likes watching animals in the wild.
