The 'castle' otter enclosure I remember from my youth in the 70s still in service in 1987. Not sure how much longer it lasted but is certainly long-gone now.

it was about 1987 when l first visited Perth Zoo.
The otters partner had recentley passed away. The lone surviour spent the whole day screaming in saddness. Again the next day l was there the same sad noise.. It was horrible.
