I'll make a guess that they may be easier to see now than later if/when the enclosure vegetation has matured- if the grass grows long etc. It is very bare at present and the wolves are new to it all so they may have not yet established a fixed pattern of behaviour. They certainly don't seem shy at present- obviously showing well for you to get plenty of photos.

They are incredibly active, in fact the most active of any Wolves I have ever seen. I have only seen European Grey Wolves at West Mid's and ZSL Whipsnade. To be fair, ZSL's were an old pack. They are very relaxed around the public and the Zoo's miniature train which passes straight past there exhibit. They were very content this afternoon, one even came and went to sleep straight in front of the glass viewing windows.
