any idea when this path was closed and why? Think u must of been able to get all the way round to the over side with outdoor viewing area of Meer cats in middle. Meercats must of been designed with out door viewing in mind as there are windows in the wall

This fence has been in place at least five years (Which is around about the time I started visiting), it is a shame however, this pathway continues around to the spider monkeys which have no fencing between the pathway and the exhibit.
 
zoogiraffe
This path way has been closed off longer than there has been a Meerkat enclosure,between the Tiger and Lion enclosures,but cannot give a year when it was done,as I know I have walked round that path in the past!
