If you are referring to the dark brown areas looking well worn I'm afraid you are mistaken. Its actually bark chip that has been put down. They were walking or running around most of the enclosure whilst I was there,but it was feeding time coming up and were jumping around like domestic dogs when he appeared with the food. They get fed inside an adjoining building,out of shot to the left of the photo,but were very timid going in and out. One of them was so timid that she never got any food at all.
There are windows set into log panels at one end and partially down one side,but they didn't seem too bothered about being close to those either.
