Australia is the complete opposite...I've never seen a bacterian camel and the government are talking about culling millions of dollars worth of dromedaries in the outback.
I can remember when Edinburgh had a herd of these at the top of the park, my parents have old home movies (super8) of the inside of the camel housecirca 1969 ish.
Strange how homogenized zoos appear have become since moving away from the ABC stock.
