Without a title on the photo I would never have realized that this was a viewing area for an elephant barn. It does look rather impressive, sleek and modern. It appears as if one could open the window on the right-hand side; what is viewed from that angle? Are the elephants viewed only through glass in this area?
The elephants are only viewed through the glass from this or any other area, indoor accommodation on the left and out to the right open parkland and then the giraffe/zebra enclosure.
Just to be clear, the indoor part of the exhibit can only be viewed through the glass windows to the left of this image. The outdoor paddock can be viewed from many different locations (outdoors).
