More Great photos Mr Weasle I'm very intrigued by this set up, I kept this species privately in the early 1990's and just wonder how they can maintain this set upover all, If the lid comes off the frogs go walk about how do they do it I wonder?

What are your thoughts on the BPA over all ?

My first response was similar: how do they service this thing?
It is attractive. Might be an unfortunate moment if a crowd were surrounding it, peering it.

The only way I can think is that the lamp which looks as if it's part of the outer casing unscrews and allows access in that way, rather like the bio orb you can get for goldfish which is really only an oversized filtered and illuminated goldfish bowl.
They are also rather impractical over time.

I think you might be right about the lamp. That is the only possible opening into the dome that I can see on my photos. Other than that, I really can't see how they'd get into the dome without all the frogs hopping out. :p

I'm going to write up an in-depth review on Blue Planet Aquarium soon, but to give you a quick review now, I'd say BPA is a well run aquarium, with excellent quality exhibits, a good collection on display (with quite a few "UK-only's"). The Underwater Aquatunnel was spectacular - definitely the best underwater tunnel I've ever been through. I enjoyed my visit very much and I would definitely visit again.
