Once you restrain a crocodilian properly, around the front legs/neck and the tail, as this keeper is doing, their bodies relax. I use a Saltwater croc in my reptile displays who is about 2 and a half feet long, and he just sits on my knee or on my arm as I talk. I restrain crocodilians in a similair manner for public encounters.
