These people now have antelope! Dear lord, i suppose this is the entire paddock then, awful and as far as the building goes it could collapse at any moment.
The lechwe are a new addition, and the steep paddock is actually outside the zoo grounds?? The lechwe came from knowsley safari park, aswell as the meerkat indoors.
This is the entire paddock, there is a small shed at the bottom of this pic
i take it you havnt been to many zoos if you think this is an acceptable enclosure for lechwe?

Im not saying its acceptable, obviously they could do with more room but for the animalariums budget this is good enough for now seeing as they are all healthy animals..

You just said that there wasnt much wrong with their environment-now your saying its not acceptable? Why did they get these animals if they cant provide space for them-dont tell me they were rescued! where else on the site could they actually build a larger enclosure in the future-i couldnt see anywhere.
Also this enclosure is outside the zoo site, you can see them without even entering the park there is no security or anything to stop people from approaching or potentially harming the animals out of hours.
