Signage, 1st November 2013

these are crosses of kunekune and whatever "micro pigs" are? Or they have both types? What does a cross between the two types look like -- a small kunekune?

I am not really convinced there is such a thing as a "micro pig" although there are plenty described as such in the UK. They tend to grow and are not all that micro! The park's (you got in very quickly before I added a bit about the name change!!) crossbred pigs do look like small Kune Kunes.

'Micro' pigs are a specific breed I think. Somewhere on here it was discussed what their origins were- I think there are several different strains of them, one was developed in a German(?) laboratory. They seem to be mainly black, have longish snouts and small ears- like wild boar- and are not overly attractive creatures apart from when very young. Agree also though that they grow quite large and are only really 'micro' when young.

'Baby's' is spelt wrongly on the sign too.

it was discussed here -- http://www.zoochat.com/1935/micro-pig-sign-344463/ -- and they appear to just be pigs which are small when they are young....

It is funny how on the sign they have put both "babies" and "baby's", in the very same sentence no less. That is unforgivable in my book.

They also seem unconcerned by the rules of punctuation; a comma, or even a semi-colon, wouldn't go amiss in untangling that rather tortuous writing.

Signage...

Most animals are small when they are young, even Elephants are quite small when they're small......
