Amazing shot! Komale was quite slow to start riding on his mother's back- I think he was a bit 'weedy' to begin with but he's made up for that now and has progressed from clinging to riding jockey-style. It won't be that long before he is off her entirely (he will be three years old before Christmas)
I'm wondering if Romina is pregnant again yet, and whether Salome can have another one or whether Komale will be her only offspring.

Salome was overweight (and she's still rather tubby) - but it would be wonderful if she could have another infant, I'm sure they will try the fertility treatment again.
As Alan says, Salome was the obese one. She was always plump even as a youngster at ZSL and during many inactive years both at London & Chessington she became like a round football. Rearing a baby has drained a lot of that extra weight it seems.
