The final part of the nocturnal house is a mock human home, with enclosures for Black Rats, Brown Rats and House Mice built in. The mice have access to the cupboards, microwave and the glass dish through hidden tunnels. A really good fun exhibit.

I quite like the Black and Brown Rat 'upstairs,downstairs' exhibit and I always go up the little stairs to see the black Rats, though last time it was closed off. There is also a taped recording of a clock ticking and someone snoring- ugh! creepy or what?
I loved this exhibit when I was there in September! So effective! I have to admit to being impressed with Bristol in general, particularly for the size!
