Bristol Zoo was the first place that I saw a river otter and I was really surprised at just how big they were. I could imagine it would've been over pretty quickly for the mallard.
I think very few people in Australia and New Zealand realise how large most otter species are, because the only one we've got in zoos over here is the small-clawed otter. I am really looking forward to the giant otters when Singapore's River Safari opens!!
