So poised and stoic looking, almost looks mounted in a museum.

Is this in the area they have recently been moved to? Is there public viewing indoors?

That is the house they used to be in(originally built for Zebra) and have moved back to. From memory there are viewing windows into some of the stalls from the pathway.

The first Okapi enclosure at Bristol was a simple stable and asphalt yard roughly where the entrance to the Seals and Coasts now stands.

Later they moved to this enclosure after the Zebras left. Then into the old Elephant(Gorilla) House. Now back to here.
