Is that a Chestnut Breasted Shelduck? There can't be too many of those in collections outside Australia.
 
Oh yes of course...i've only seen African shelducks once (at Singapore zoo) so they're not as familiar.
you must have missed Maguari's post above. African shelduck seemed to fit best (I shoehorned it :D) but it seems to be a hybrid instead.
 
Bristol Zoo

South African Shelduck have grey heads, with an orange-tan body rather than the mahogany colour of this one. This handsome chap is Common x Ruddy Shelduck -- Bristol had quite a few at one time. While one wouldn't deliberately produce them, they are a very attractive cross. The females at least are fertile. This looks like a male.
