Great photo! They are amazing little animals. I had the privilege of catching them along with Desert Kangaroo Rats and other Heteromyids in the wild in the Mojave Desert during my Mammalogy class.
Sorry I missed this question when you posted it. I don't have a shot of the enclosure, but I saw it today as it happens. It now holds kowari. It is about 1.5 metres long, 1.2 m high and 0.9 m wide. It had a layer of sand and scattered rocks - I can't remember if the kangaroo rats had a nest box or not. Hope this helps.
