Kowari in normal lighting

That's a great shot! I reckon it'll be setting a photographic target for future Zoochatters visiting Bristol to aim for.

That is another lovely photo, I can't decide whether I prefer this or the nocturnal shot!

Thank you. These kowari photos were selected from a large number of failures and they needed a fair amount of processing too.
I saw 3 kowari at Bristol, but I don't know their sexes. I was told that they came from Poland. Unfortunately I was speaking to their keeper just before the lights went out, so I was trying hold a conversation and watch for photo opportunities at the same time.

Which, of course, means they came from Poznan. I looked at the ZTL listing for the species at Poznan, and at the end of 2011 the zoo held 11.7 Kowari, so they certainly would have had sufficient to send any given mix of genders.
