This is not a Mediterranean Chameleon, lowlandanoa :) as stated by Rajang, it is a Pygmy Leaf Chameleon. I have now added it to ZTL.
 
No - the Mediterranean Chameleon is also known as the Common Chameleon - Chamaeleo chamaeleon. The pictured species is from Tanzania and Uganda, as opposed to the Common Chameleon's distribution throughout North Africa and Southern Europe.

They are quite "common" as pets, I have seen various specimens of all 3 Riepellion species on a reptile fair a few months ago. It is interesting to see them appearing in public collections, especially because they resemble the Malagasy Brookesia species, which I am very fond of.
