Given how small Bristol is to begin with, I'm continually amazed that with so much space not used for enclosures it still feels like a sizeable collection with great exhibits.
It is both of those things of course, but you wouldn't think so to look at the map.
I like it because it is a bird's eye view showing you not just where things are but how they look. Newquay, for example, had something similar but now have a design that is purely functional giving no hint of the appearance of the zoo.
