The zoo closed twelve years ago so the cage was looking pretty empty when I visited it last year. I'm not sure what was originally housed in it. Perhaps another member might be able to elaborate...
As far as I can remember it was mostly domestic water fowl and a few pigeons. I think there were mute swans and maybe a peacock. Ill look in some old home movies and see if i can see.
