This male Nile Soft-shelled Turtle (Trionyx triunguis) illustrates a problem with open exhibits. Visitors thought it was great fun to cover his back with coins. This enclosure now houses the Galapagos Tortoises.

ISIS shows 3.3.11 including 1.1.10 in Europe. The Chester male was a huge specimen.

I think I remember the matamata turtles.

Didn't this pool also keep the dwarf crocodiles before they moved to the alligator pool?
