Chakra, Indian lion cub

Lion enclosure, Chester. October 26th 2008.

Excellent photo- thank you. The keeper told us the name was Shakra but I don't know whether that's correct or Chakra. We should have asked the keeper to write it down!

The zoo's website says Chakra, so I'm sticking with that for the moment. Thank you for your comment.

As far as im aware this didnt happen, the cub was put to sleep then put back into the den so that Asha could spend the night with him and know that the cub had passed away. The cub was then later removed in the morning
