Musk Ox Chester Zoo 12 April 1979

Hugo a male Canadian Musk Ox (Ovibos moschatus moschatus). He was one of the friendliest animals I have ever known and always came running up to the fence whenever I went to his enclosure.

Me too, though one of the Whipsnade bulls made it his lifelong ambition to kill me. I had the last laugh though, I'm still alive and he isn't.
