incredibly lush jaguar exhibit

I am still disappointing that I missed seeing a black jaguar in this incredible exhibit because some visitors told me it died and a keeper told me the cats can go inside or outside, so I assumed the yellow one I saw outside was the only one on that side of the building.

You could have been waiting a long time. I used to be lucky seeing him, but out of all my visits this year I've only seen him once.

We've managed to see Pele every year we've been. Although some glimpses have been more successful than others. When you do see him walking out from the undergrowth it makes the hours wait very worth while.

That's probably my main problem, I never wait that long :p. I'm not a member (yet) so I spend 5 mins at things to try and see everything to get my money's worth. Plus, with it being my local I take the 'I'll be beck soon so I'll look then instead' attitude.

We're not members of Chester either. Although as members of Paignton we also enter for free. We make a week of it. 3/4 days in the zoo, getting a real good look at everything.

Sounds good :). My parents steward at Chester racecourse, so whenever there's a meeting on it usually results in a trip to the zoo for me and my girlfriend. Due to times as well, it's usually first in/last out :D
