Maguari 24 Oct 2010 I really like these - an unusual species (besides Chester Zootierliste only lists Arnhem, Plzen and Walsrode as keeping them in Europe) and very attractive. And, as always, a very nice shot.

P P Pertinax 24 Oct 2010 I like them too- despite being a slightly less colourful version of Java Sparrow. Never seen them until I went to see ROTRA. Do they breed now?

Maguari 24 Oct 2010 They certainly have bred; not sure how regularly. (and they may be less colourful, but I find them much more attractive than Java Sparrows)
