Timor sparrow

I really like these - an unusual species (besides Chester Zootierliste only lists Arnhem, Plzen and Walsrode as keeping them in Europe) and very attractive.

And, as always, a very nice shot. :D
 
I like them too- despite being a slightly less colourful version of Java Sparrow. Never seen them until I went to see ROTRA. Do they breed now?
 
They certainly have bred; not sure how regularly.

(and they may be less colourful, but I find them much more attractive than Java Sparrows)
 
They do look quite like the Javan but there plumage is so lined up that I can only see one stray feather. AMAZING!!!!
 
I think they are really smart birds, so I'm glad I spent some time on getting a decent photo.
