That's a fantastic photo. Probably my favorite owl, but I have not been able to get a good shot of one yet. I was at Chester a few months ago, but I don't remember seeing these (there were some parts I did not get to).

@Arizona Docent: The owl aviaries are in one of the quieter parts of the zoo, I think many visitors don't realise they are there. Opposite the Tiger Monorail Station there's a toilet block. Follow an alleyway to the left hand side of the building, and you will pass owl aviaries left and right as the path takes you to the left of Oakfield House towards Bongo and Red Panda.
