Roul-Roul Partridge Chick - 13/08/2011

One of a group of five roul-roul partridge chicks (Rollulus rouloul) that can currently be seen in free-flight in the Tropical Realm.

Nice capture! In my experience, they are elusive little so-and-sos, but ultra cute of course.

Thanks Alan. No prizes for the lack of DOF, but you're absolutely right, they move so fast that a large aperture is pretty much required. I was tipped off to their location on Saturday, but even so we searched for about twenty minutes before spotting them.
