Melanistic jaguar 'Pele'

Pele

He was bred at Marwell in 1995, the link attached shows Pele outdoors. Pele being 16 is looking a rather old cat, I hope he can manage a few more years there. When I first saw him I thought he was a rather young cat (It was in 2008) he proved to be very elusive and I never got a decent photo of him.

According to Chesters' records shown by Alan Woodward at the Roaring Lecture in september of this year, Pele is actually 18 years old, you are correct with bred at Marwell.
