Diamond Jubilee Quarter, the new area of the zoo open to non-payng visitors.
This area was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip on 17th May 2012.
The zoo shop, two aviaires, warthog and mongoose enclsure, elephant house, toilets, cafeteria and visitor infornation kiosk are all now accessible before entering the zoo, guests already inside the zoo who want to visit this area can leave and re-enter with a hand stamp.
