Brilliant shot. I do hope Chester continue to breed this species in years to come, they are a lovely species.
 
On my last visit to Chester, about 3-4 years ago now, primarily to see the new ROTRA building, I noticed there was definately no adult stag with this group, just a couple of yearling 'spike' males. Do they seperate him from the herd sometimes?( or is this one of those 'spikers' I saw, now as an adult?)

I believe he has been split from the main herd in the past,but now he is with them all the time.
