Can you now see this without the barriers in place? I remember when 'Sibu' was held on this enclosure, it's a shame Tuan can't be on this island anymore.
Unfortunately not. It's a shame the area couldn't be opened up and used for smaller primates (such as the black howlers, who have spent months confined to a cage no larger than a modest aviary). Phase two of RotRA doesn't ever appear to be happening.

As I said in the current Chester thread, the next inhabitants couldperhapspossibly be Blackpool's orangs while their house is renovated.
In the longer term, I still think this island would make a lovely aviary
If the howlers now have access to the lemur islands then it's only a recent development, to the best of my knowledge they've been confirmed to those cages for months. Has anyone actually seen them on an island? If so, I wonder how they're coping with the waterbus traffic.
Of course, Rob is right about the red titi too (currently), along with a number of other small primates held off-show.

Even if not the island, the howlers have both the two former ruffed lemur cages - that must represent two or three times the space they had at Twycross. Those are not small enclosures.
