Chester Zoo Memories
I'm sure many ZooChat members search this site in the hope of finding old photos of Chester Zoo. Pictures which bring on a feeling of warm nostalgia. Species no longer kept, lost enclosures, lost corridors. I thought it might be nice if members added them with the title 'Chester Zoo Memories' to make searching easier... What do you think? I'll be adding more Memories over the next few days. This one ? Otters in the Small Mammal House Chester Zoo 1967.
I can't remember this specifically, but I think it was to the right of the entrance to the house ?? (later replaced by a cage for Pygmy marmosets?). I presume this was the enclosure where the s c otters bred successfully, a UK first??
