Dagmar and daughter

They look to be separated. Illusion? If not, why?

When I saw them on saturday Dagmar was in with her daughter and separated from the rest of the herd until today when the plan was to give them access to the outside enclosure.

I have a similar photo to this with one of the other females nuzzling the new calf through the bars - not Dagmar.

Peretinax, it's just the angle the photo was taken from, mother and baby have access to each other
