Chester Zoo Memories
For nostalgic ZooChat members another old photo of Chester Zoo.... Old pictures bring on a feeling of warm nostalgia. Species no longer kept, lost enclosures, lost corridors. I thought it might be nice if members added them with the title 'Chester Zoo Memories' to make searching easier... What do you think? I'll be adding more Memories over time. This interesting photo of a building much discussed on this web site. The Small Mammal House. Pictured here in August 1983 just prior to re-vamp. The exterior cages were a month later demolished and re-built aviary style right up to the front door where smaller 'aviaries' housed marmosets and tamarins.
