Looking through some old photographs found this one unfortunately it has no species name but a date of 02 - 10 - 2009 I think may be the date I first uploaded it on to my computer but on the bottom of the photograph it does say West Mid Park can any one help with the species and if they actually kept these at WMSP or if not the correct location many thanks in advance
Sable Antelope at Chester (check the sandstone!) and will be a fair bit earlier than 2009; sometime between 1994 and 1997 based on the number of animals (Chester kept the species 1992-2004 but usually in smaller numbers).
EDIT: Just noticed the base of a monorail stanchion as well! The Sable were kept in the current Vicuna paddock.
Many thanks for the info can remember visiting Chester in the mid 90's and have 100's of old photographs from the 80's & 90's from Chester but can't understand why I put West Mid Park on the photograph
If there is a Mod about could they put this in the correct Gallery Please.
