Islands Extra - Boat loading at the Jetty

This visitor's wheelchair has been wheeled across a gangplank and is being secured in one of the boats. Islands, Chester, 18th July 2015

Is there a guide in every boat? That's a lot of guides....are they volunteers? And is this going to be a permanent feature of the boat ride or just for the opening few weeks?

To answer in order - yes, don't know and don't know
As I said in the Islands thread, the guide in the boat that I went round in got a little geographically confused: but I have some sympathy, it's a rotten job repeating the same script every quarter hour for the day while being upbeat and smiling.
