Islands problem areas - the space for the tapirs

The Monsoon Forest and Hornbill aviary are on the left and the Tiger enclosure is on the right. the space for the tapir stable and paddocks has been graded and seeded with grass. Hopefully work will start there this winter.
I presume the path behind the grass will open when the tigers and orangs are moved. The brown object in the centre is a skip from Alan's Skip Hire - a company with which I have no connection. Islands, Chester, 27th August 2015

It's a problem area because it's an empty space. I suppose you could say that it's the desert Island :D

The boat goes past the western end of the tapir enclosure, where the palings are in the photo. The main viewing will be from the path I mentioned above which goes behind the tigers, along the the back of the grassed space and then past the southern outdoor orang enclosure and the hornbill outdoor aviary to the entrance of the Monsoon House.

I wondered whether this will be a picnic area until work starts on the tapir enclosure? It would make an attractive spot for lunch! The boat ride will go past one side of the tapir exhibit. As with banteng and warty pigs the tapir will be able to wade alongside the river with concealed fencing separating their enclosure from the river.

This has the potential to be the highlight of the boat trip, will there be indoor viewing of the tapirs and while we are about it, do any of the hoofstock stabling have indoor viewing at all?
