It would be nice if they explained why they are introducing new chimps i.e. whether it is to breed purebred West Africans, or for any other reason. I don't think they do that anywhere do they?
This notice looks a quick attempt to explain why the chimps are off-show. I don't know if things have settled down yet. Perhaps someone can find out more information on Member's Day.
There will have to be a major renewal of the chimp signage when everything does settle down: I hope that will include the reasons for the moves and the importance of the new breeding programme.
