I don't know if it's just the angle, but this photo looks particularly un- Acanthasaura like; when i first saw it without the title, i thought it was a Hypsilurus magnus !
Having pondered this photo for a while, i'm going to suggest that this in fact is a young H. magnus.. The head structure and back markings look like no Acanthosaura I've ever seen.

I will stand by what I posted as that is what I was told by a very senior member of the Chester staff,that looks after the exhibit this was taken in.If they don't know what they have put in the whole zoo is in trouble!!
