IMO this exhibit is slightly better lit than Bristol's- the 'red' lighting seems more effective.I don't know which AyeAye I saw but it seemed very stereotyped, repeatedly running back and forth along one rope.

The male 'Raz' is much more active than the old female 'Mamy'. He was in the left-hand enclosure on the day before your visit. When I have been watching him he has been regularly following a triangular route, but without showing the automaton-like repetition that I associate with classic stereotyping. The "shusher" on duty told me that the keepers change the arrangement of ropes in the enclosure to set him different challenges.
