Indian elephant bull 1973

Nobby (ahem) was the infamous elephant who in 1975, escaped during building works and had to be shot as he ran through neighbourhood streets, passing the window of schools along the way. If I recall correctly, he was quite an impressive specimen. He was buried within the zoo.
