Breaking news; despite being large forest antelope, the bongo is a smaller species than the thylacine!
 
The tragic loss of GL stealing our knees made visiting the rest of the zoo quite difficult:p

They are still there, I assure you (look down if you don't believe me ;)).
You may recall that Dr Watson decided not to publish the story of Sherlock Holmes and the giant rat of Sumatra, because the world was not yet ready for that horrific tale. I chose this image for posting as I feel that the world is not yet ready for those bare knees :eek:

Just realized how purely exhausted most of us look in this photo:p Worst part is this was during the earlier part of our visit!
